MY ROLE
I worked on Claimx at Veoc Tech Agency. This was a focused on building an MVP first rather than a full application, keeping only necessary pages and components.
My job was to create a web-based claims processing interface where:
Claims are automatically initiated via email by policyholders (using OCR + LLMs to extract attachments, and incident details).
An AI Agent workflow processes the incoming claim: extracting key data, validating documents, identifying missing info, and optionally asking follow-up questions via email or interface.
All AI interactions, schema updates, and email follow-ups are visible to claims officers on a real-time dashboard.
*Due to non-disclosure policies, I have omitted and obfuscated company confidential information in this case study
FINDING OPPORTUNITIES TO DELIGHT USERS
Claimix project is a web-based claims processing system designed to help insurance teams manage and act on incoming claims more efficiently. The system automatically intakes claims sent by email, uses OCR and AI (LLMs) to extract key information, and then presents everything to staff through a real-time dashboard. Claims officers can review, edit, approve, reject, ask for more information, or escalate claims. All activities are visible on the interface and trackable in an audit log.
DESIGNING A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE
The dashboard shows a list of claims, details for each claim, and additional views like policyholder info, analytics, audit logs, and staff management. Role-based access ensures only authorised users can take specific actions.
Key things i worked on in this project includes:
✅ Designed the Real-Time dashboard
✅ Worked on the claim detail & staff actions
✅ Maintained a detailed audit log of all claim actions.
✅ Worked on the staff management screens for assigning roles, tracking activity.

FINAL ITERATION
The Policy Holder section of Claimix was designed to provide a clear, stress-free claims experience for non-technical users. The focus was on simplicity, transparency, and reassurance. Policy holders can track their claim status through a minimal dashboard. All interactions use clear status indicators.
To support trust and accountability, an Audit Log system runs alongside the policy holder experience. Every action taken on a claim including submission, review, edits, requests for information, approvals, rejections, and escalations is automatically recorded with timestamps and user identifiers.
IMPACT
The work improved my speed, accuracy, and confidence when handling a projects of this type.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
This project taught me how to design for complex workflows without overwhelming users. I learned the importance of clarity when AI is involved, especially when users need to review and correct automated outputs. I also learned how real-time data and status updates can change how users make decisions. Overall, the project strengthened my ability to design calm, trustworthy experiences for high-stakes tasks.
