FINDING OPPORTUNITIES TO DELIGHT USERS
Velora Finance is a concept project where we reimagined how users trade and swap tokens in Web3. The goal was to create a platform that feels fast, smooth and easy to trust. The brand theme is inspired by an antelope which represents speed and agility. This helped shape the look, the tone and the overall experience of the product.
DESIGNING A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE
I set out to design a Web3 trading app I would genuinely enjoy using. Many existing platforms felt cluttered or unfinished, which weakens user trust. This project was an attempt to create a more premium, clean, and intuitive experience, proving that a trading app can feel polished while remaining simple and easy to use.
DESIGN
I set out to design a Web3 trading app that I would genuinely enjoy using. Many existing platforms feel cluttered or incomplete, which often breaks trust. I wanted to explore whether I could create an experience that feels premium, clean, and satisfying to interact with. The goal was to raise the bar and show that a trading app can look polished while staying simple and easy to use.
FINAL ITERATION
Velora simplifies token bridging by allowing users to move assets seamlessly across supported blockchains.
I made sure the bridging flow is designed to be guided and transparent, clearly showing the source chain, destination chain, token type and fees.
Each step is clearly communicated, from transaction initiation to final settlement, ensuring users always know where their assets are and what action is required.
IMPACT
The work improved my knowledge about UX in Web3. I studied quite alot of app while designing this such as Uniswap, Bungee etc.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
I had great UX understanding about how users swap across many tokens with clear steps and instant feedback. I also designed a bridge feature that works with one network or across multiple networks so users can move assets without stress, this also widened my knowledge on how bridging works in the Web3 space. As a concept project, it shows how design can shape a better trading experience when we slow down the noise and focus on what people need.
